Vanessa is a software developer by profession, but her love for jazz comes from her background as a professional saxophonist and educator. Now, she contributes to the community both as the co-owner of Caffè Vivace and the president of Jazz Vivace.
Brent Gallaher
Artistic Director | Board | Founder
Brent Gallaher is a respected saxophonist and jazz enthusiast in Cincinnati, Ohio, For the past several years has focused his passion for jazz towards nurturing Cincinnati's jazz community by founding and running a jazz-first listening venue, Caffè Vivace.
Al West
Transportation Director | Board
A retired chemistry teacher, jazz vocalist, writer, and founder of Ferrous Will Life Design and Fitness, Al West has transformed his passion for people development into his life's mission.
Sonya Foster
Hospitality Director | Board
Sonya Foster is an Administrative Secretary at The University of Cincinnati. She is an avid jazz
fan and loves live music. She considers Caffe Vivace her "happy place."
Cheryl Kreindler
Board
Cheryl Kreindler is a senior vice president and strategic environmental consultant at WSP USA Inc. with more than 30-years of experience. She is honored to serve on Jazz Vivace’s Board and help keep jazz alive in Cincinnati.
Scott Seward
Director of Development | Executive Staff
Scott Seward returned to Cincinnati in 2023 after 21 years in California, where he led marketing for the Carmel Bach Festival and communications for the Northern California Golf Association. He now works with Jazz Vivace, as well as the Bach Ensemble of St. Thomas, and the LOTUS Trumpet Company. Scott also plays trumpet professionally, and is a graduate of UC's College-Conservatory of Music and Xavier University, .
